Measuring tips:
- Bust - Measure under your arms at the fuller part of your bust. Keep tape level across your shoulder blades.
- Waist- Measure around your natural waistline. Keep the tape comfortably loose to ensure the best fit..
- Drop Waist - Measure around your body 1 ½" below your natural waist.
- Hips - Standing with feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips.
- Inseam - Choose your favourite fit of pants, measure from midline seam to bottom of leg.

Wish you had more places to wear jewels on your ear? Thats the great thing about the ear cuff, no piercing required.
Slide onto your ear above the lobe. The ends have been filed down to create a smooth surface, because these are gold filled some of the inside layer has been exposed and can tarnish over time. Use the polishing cloth provided in your order to polish up the edges to bring back the shine.

This is a handmade item - made right on salt spring island. Each piece will vary slightly from one another, making each one unique. Just like you!
Gold filled pieces will show some solder joints. Unfortunately these can not be filed down, otherwise the base metal underneath will show. If you'd like to learn more please check out our material guide below.
What is gold filled?
Gold filled consists of a base metal bonded with a layer of gold over top. Gold filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight. All of the gold filled jewelry that we carry is 14k yellow gold filled. Meaning all the gold that is bonded was 14k solid gold. This can be described as either 14/20 gold filled or 14k gold filled.
What is the difference between gold filled and gold plated?
Gold filled has almost 100% more gold than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled is much more durable and will not chip away like gold plated does.
What is the difference between 10k and 14k solid gold?
10k gold contains 41.7% gold and 14k contains 58.3% gold. 10k gold is stronger than 14k.
What is the difference between white, yellow and rose gold?
Pure gold is pure yellow. Other alloys are mixed in with gold to change its colour and add strength. White gold usually contains 25% nickel and zinc. Rose gold has copper added.
- The great thing with gold filled is that the gold will never wear off, but it can tarnish and darken. Keep it in a sealed box or bag to keep it its brightest. Regular polishing will keep them looking their best.
- Sometimes yellow gold filled can look slightly more golden than solid yellow gold, this is normal and part of what gold filled has to offer.
