A happy narwhal print adorned with seaweed and clamshells. A dark navy print featuring anchors makes up the medium while a dotted grey is used for the small. A staff favourite 🐋🐚.

This is also a throwback to a Goldilocks original print from several years ago and we are excited to be able to bring it back!

An all natural, reusable & eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap in the kitchen. Wash in cool, soapy water. Do not heat.

One of the most common questions we get is "how do I wash my wraps?" So we decided to put together a list of our top 5 care instructions to ensure your reusable beeswax wraps live a long and healthy life!

1. USE COLD WATER
One of the biggest factors that will affect the longevity of your wrap is hot water. Using hot water will start to de-saturate or pull the wax away from the cotton, meaning it will start to crack and crumble. Clearly we don't want that!

So be sure to use cold water as much as you can. Depending on what you have wrapped, you can simply wipe the beeswax wrap down with a damp cloth, or you can use some soap suds from a mild dish detergent and rinse with cold water.

2. NO MICROWAVE
Although plastic wrap is not actually intended for microwave use, this became a popular method out of convenience. Whether you start using reusable beeswax wraps as an alternative to plastic wrap (and we hope you have already!) let's agree to stop microwaving plastics. It's not good for you. It's also not good for your wrap as it causes melting. It may make your kitchen smell awesome, but your food and wrap will be wrecked!

3. LET LEFTOVERS COOL
Are you noticing a trend yet? Heat and wax are not friends. Goldilocks wraps are perfect for preserving leftovers, but if it's a hot dish just let it cool off to room temperature before you cover it up.

4. STORAGE
If you've never used beeswax wraps before, or if you're trying to get family members in the house to switch over, we recommend keeping them in a basket or bowl on the counter for the first while. Everyone seems to have that drawer that things go into and never come back out of, right? We are creatures of habit and out of sight, out of mind is a real thing. Once you find you are using your wraps instinctually, feel free to keep them in a cupboard or drawer.

5. WHEN IN DOUBT
Treat them like your skin. Anything that is hard or drying on your hands (heat, harsh detergents, etc) will likely also be hard on your wraps. They are strong and durable as well, so don't be scared to bunch them up into a ball, press and mould them with the heat of your hands to hold a shape and get them to do what you want.

  • We can only ship to the billing address or a confirmed address. 
  • All packages will be sent out with a tracking number. 
  • Customer is responsible for any additional charges on rejected packages.
  • Once it is with Canada Post, we are not responsible for any shipping or customs delays.  We are happy to work with you to track your package or submit claims. Your shipping, however, cannot be refunded once the item has shipped.
  • All online inventory is taken from our Edmonton location. We require 24 hours to confirm the status and condition of your purchase. Although we strive to keep the website’s inventory updated at all times, item availability cannot always be guaranteed. If an item is sold out, you will be notified via email and given your options which may include a direct refund.

Taxes and Duties
Sales tax is charged on all Canadian orders at the customer's local tax rate.
Red Ribbon is not responsible for duties or other fees incurred from importing goods.

All of our prices are in Canadian dollars. Any fluctuations in the exchange rate are the customer's responsibility.

In-Store Return Policy

Red Ribbon will gladly accept returns of regularly priced merchandise for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase with an original (or gift) receipt. Item must not show any signs of wear with tags securely attached.

Any items without original tags or receipt will not be accepted. All sale items are final and we do not offer price adjustments.

Online Order Return Policy

Please mail the items back to us at the following address or return it instore. Item must be in an unworn condition with tags securely attached. Exchanges

We cannot guarantee the item you would like to exchange will be available in the size or colour requested. Items cannot be special ordered if they are not stock. If we have to issue a store credit, please retain all information we give you for future use on our website or in our retail store. **Red Ribbon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.

  • Items we post on Instagram sell out very quickly!  If you saw something you love, but can't make it in, no problem!  Buy it online, choose "in-store pickup" and in 24 hours or less, you will receive an email from us saying it is ready for pick up.  Same day pick up is always available!

We are very transparent and have the same sales EVERY year.

    • You can return it in store. Bring your order number and the item you would like to return. The item must be unworn with the original tags still attached. 
    • You can ship it back to the store. The customer is responsible for any shipping charges and we require that you insure the package. We will not be responsible for the cost of any lost packages. Your original shipping charges will not be refunded. Once we receive the returned item, we will refund the charges back on to the card in which it was purchased.   
    Question: If something is out of stock online is there a chance you have it in store?
